I used to be able to juggle. I'm sure I could learn again. The only thing I can remember spending over $1,000 on other than a car was a very expensive veterinary treatment for my cat (a radioactive iodine treatment; he had hyperthyroidism).
Well, I hate coffee, so I get through every day without it! I don't even rely on other caffeine, because I'm very caffeine sensitive, so it just tends to make me jittery and I can't sleep.
My first computer cost over £1,000. Those were the days before you could buy one off-the-shelf, you had to order it specially to your requirements and a man in a local shop had to build it for you. (Yes, I am very old, lol!)
