I am one of the few people I know who has absolutely no interest in this show. However, I did knit a Doctor Who scarf (from the old version of the show) for an ex-boyfriend. Looked like a fun thing to knit, even though it took forever.

That was very thoughtful of you, I hope he appreciated it.

I understand things about it. I've watched one episode that I liked. I know the companion was Rose and there was something about a scribble that came alive. The Daleks bother me. Then those weird alien things that start with the letter O (I think) also bother me.

So, yeah, I don't watch the show and I don't care about it.

My dad loves Doctor Who... in fact, he named me after Sarah Jane. But I don't know a thing about the show, which is a bit shameful. I'm sure I'll check it out eventually.

I've only seen it with Nine and Ten, but I've been meaning to give the 50th a whirl, just because it seems like I should.

Once upon a time Tom Baker and Dr Who was a necessity in my life.
It never again had the same meaning.
It was all of the moment with memories attached.

If you get the chance, I hope you watch the 50th anniversary episode, if only for the reason that Tom Baker makes an appearance. He's probably about 80 years old, and he's still a scene stealer.

Before the Doctors Revisited specials, and excepting The Five Doctors, I had not seen any Hartnell, Troughton, or Pertwee.

Ten was far and away my Doctor, but the superior writing and fabulous everything made me fall madly in love with Eleven. Ten is my first, but Eleven is my favorite.

I did see some episodes when I was a kid, but don't really remember which ones and I saw one or two of the newer ones. I didn't like it then and have zero interest now.

I love all things Doctor Who and I really wish more new fans would try out some of the old series'.
