If possible, I'd use a plastic bag as a glove and hope to find a way to clean the bill. I probably wouldn't take it otherwise, and I would only do it for the $500 or $1000 amount. In that situation, I'd use my phone to find an image of the bill in question to make sure it wasn't an obvious fake first.

Your average dollar has so much more nasty stuff on it than urine. A little pee water wouldn't deter me from fishing it out.

I've heard there's this great new thing called "soap". They say it's kept in secret compartments by the sinks. I know; it's crazy!

:)

But could it clean the bill? Presumably the bill has piss on it too.

I'd reckon if soap is good enough for my hands after I go, then it's good enough for a monetary note.

I'd actually be more likely to take something from a toilet with all solid matter than all yellow.

If it's from the toilets at my place of work, KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!

A one thousand dollar bill in a toilet would be a prank. The bill is fake, and weirdos nearby are getting a huge laugh out of coaxing you to touch tinkles out of greed.

Does the person who sees a $20 bill in a toilet stop to think about how it arrived there? Does it dawn on her that if she would be willing to pick it up, then the person who left it would also have been so willing?

You, sir, are brilliant. You are evil, and you are brilliant.

If it was possible, I would use something to get the bill out of the toilet. Or I would get someone else to get it. I wouldn't put my hand in a toilet for anything less than $50.

I would start looking for the TV cameras.

I once saw some € notes on the pavement I was walking on, but I didn't pick it up. I always think that maybe someone who lost it may come back to see whether it is still there. Nevertheless the person I was accompanying was picking it up and glad about it but I can't just pick up money.
For the toilet Maybe I would take it out(well not with bare hands that is sure) but I wouldnt take it.
