Things I Think In The Course Of The Day
21st-Jan-2012 05:56 pm
Barney
Inspired by, respectively, a feature on the LJ homepage, a discussion I had once in a college literature course, and a shopping trip. Highly intellectual. Or not. Oh, and just to clarify the last option on #5, please choose it only if you know you have those stores in your country, but still don't shop at them -- otherwise, follow the wording in the question. I'm going for data on both popularity and recognition all at once. VERY scientific. :)

At first I said Target, but then I changed it to Walmart. We have Target and Kmart here in Australia, but it turns out they're not affiliated with their US counterparts, so I assume they don't count as answers - regardless of whether I shop there or not. We don't have Walmart, but that's the one you hear about all the time, so I picked that for recognition. Oddly enough, I didn't even know there was a US Kmart, whereas Walmart shouts "America" as loudly as anything else I can think of.
