What do you think is a reasonable price to pay for a used (but perfectly working) audio cd?

$4 or less
$10 or more

It depends on the rarity. If it's out of print or an import or otherwise difficult to obtain (new or used), the value would increase.

It depends on how much someone wants it and whether there's any rarity value.

Knowing what those stores offer to accept the trade-ins there's no way I'd pay more than $4 for one. I brought a bunch of CDs around to a few different places and the best offer I had (a lot of them were new so they could have jacked up their price) was $3. for all. One place only offered me ten cents for each! No, I wouldn't buy used unless they started paying more, or offering more store credit for them.

I said $5 (would have to be in good condition & not cracks in the case). But, in some cases I would pay more if it was hard-to-find or something. As much as $15 or even $20 for something out of print. Signed? Definitely more.

the average price for good cds at markets i've found is $5. some idiot was selling a terribly scratched/should throw in the garbage bin cd for $5 though recently and things like that suck, but if in good condition then that's a reasonable price.
