It really creeps me out when people talk on their phones when they're in the bathroom. No, really, finish up. I can wait. Bleeech!

Do people even talk on cell phones anymore? I was picturing texting myself. But now...thanks! Heh heh.

Even texting or just playing games creeps me out! I'm kind of a germaphobe when it comes to the bathroom.

Your phone has more germs on it than the toilet. True fact.

I voted "Angry Birds" but we all know it's really Bejeweled.
12th-Jan-2012 09:37 pm (UTC)
Bejeweled in the bathroom? That has some nice alliteration...

If the amount of time I spent playing Bejeweled counted as experience in the geologic field, they'd have hired me by now. :(

I get frustrated when I can't get it to go as fast as I wanted. I think Sutek's Tomb was better. ;)

AGREED!

That actually sounds like a euphemism. "Bobby and I totally Bejeweled in the bathroom. It was awesome."

Are you and Elyse friends yet? If you are not, you should. Elyse is fun and fun is good.

I bring my phone with me anytime I go to a public restroom (the one at work counts, since it's a communal one), but only for security reasons, as I never like to be separated from my phone when I'm away from home; too much risk of theft. However, it stays in my pocket the whole time; I think that the bathroom is never a good place to use it, and besides, there's always the risk of getting it water damaged.

LOL. That would be a pretty big "oh crap" moment if dropped in the toilet.

where else can I text uninterrupted at work? :-P We don't have stalls, just one-ers, though.

Do you text people? Are you a texter? Are you a sexter?

I have not received a single comment from this entry, except notifications when people reply to a comment already made.

Just my family, mostly & no "sexting"! We have unlimited texting on our family plan now. :-D

I haven't had problems getting comment e-mails. I don't think, at least.

Use it in the "read" sense or use it in the "active" sense? Because I'll do one but not the other...
13th-Jan-2012 12:42 am (UTC)
What is the difference between read and active? Is one where you're talking and one where you're looking at something?
13th-Jan-2012 12:43 am (UTC)
Yeah, sorry, I had a bit of a brain fart about coming up with good words for the difference...

I was thinking I am soooo not with it that I don't even know cell phone terminology. Which is probably true anyway. I just have a tracfone (pay as you go) and I have used it to send about 3 text messages (to my husband while we were 1000 miles apart). It's a pain to text with a number pad.
13th-Jan-2012 12:45 am (UTC)
Yeah, texting is about a million times easier when your phone has a real keyboard than it is on a number pad ;)
13th-Jan-2012 12:29 am (UTC)
I do it at home, but not at work.
13th-Jan-2012 03:37 am (UTC)
I HATE when people do this and have to keep myself from making loud farting noises just to piss them off. Grr.
13th-Jan-2012 03:59 am (UTC)
I didn't until they banned phones at work. Now bathroom breaks are my only chance to check my messages.
13th-Jan-2012 02:59 pm (UTC)
I don't use bathroom stalls at work, only the urinals, but generally my phone stays in my pocket.
