My income is exactly the same, but I've reduced my expenses tremendously while also moving into a nicer place, so it feels higher.

My happiness level evens out as higher, but I still have the same frustrations as last year (same stupid boring dead-end job, no closer to graduating). I've become much better at connecting with those around me which helps a lot.

I had to pick started new job and lost a job - it was actually converting from contract to FTE

I didn't move in the past 365 days - but I'm moving next week :) I also started another course at university, which is why my income is lower, since I'm only working part-time.

I became a parent for the second time. Can a person do that? I had a child, so I selected that option. Exciting!

My church was victim to arson on April 2nd.

In the last year, I started college, and learned to drive (kinda...). I have a new cat who I LOVE, but I lost 2 older cats who I also loved.

I have the same amount of income, but now I spend it a lot more frivolously. I have to work on that.

I feel like my anxiety levels have skyrocketed, and my happiness levels have plummeted.

My company was acquired (MAJOR STRESS AND BADNESS) and my old job that I loved was no longer available. Fortunately the acquiring company offered me a different job. I don't like it as much as my old job but it's certainly not bad.

My income is the same, but I got more scholarship money this semester for school so that when up :)

Something wonderful didn't happen to me directly, but my brother purchased his first home, and he is family so I counted that. We are close, and now when I go home to visit family I can stay with my parents or my brother, which is awesome.

Personally, my income is higher, but since my husband quit his job and stopped receiving the GI Bill after graduation, our household income is lower.

I applied (and got accepted to) grad school. :)

Something awful -- roommate drama (resolved since the roommate no longer lives with us) and an emergency appendectomy that disrupted some very carefully laid plans. So nothing life-changingly terrible but I'd consider them both pretty awful in the now ;)

Income: My income is very dependant on how many days I work each week. Two pays my bills, three allows me to build up a surplus for when I don't work enough and four allows me to buy nice things (books, DVDs, etc). It seems that I may be able to work more this year and with a slight pay raise that means my income could be significantly larger. But I won't know for a while.

A year ago: I couldn't remember specifically but I keep a record with an online calendar so I was able to look and see that I worked that morning and spent the evening with people from church. This year I spent the morning working and the evening fixing Common Knowledge data for the Wheel of Time series at LibraryThing.com

Over the year: I've lived through a couple of big quakes and a multitude of aftershocks. (Nothing like what Japan is going through right now though.) After the first of those I spent time with a friend and we got a little intimate but that didn't last. I also helped my parents shift residence, all of 300 metres / 0.2 miles.

If you would've posted this 5 days from now, I could have checked off the "I graduated from something" box, but the "I started a new job" box would be unchecked.

I have been in the mean time to SA again in march :), and in september we'll tie the knot :)
