Smidge. Where do you think I picked that up? Is that a Southern thing? I can't think of my parents (New Yorkers) ever saying smidge. Do they? I don't know. But I say it a lot.
You know what I don't get? What I looked up smidge, certain it was short for smidgen, it said it was short for smidgegeon. What in the world is a smidgegeon?
I am coming back to this way late, but smidge can be short for smidgen, smidgin, or smidgeon, all pronounced the same. Spelling probably depends on location.
That said, after I went to answer the poll, I realized what *I* say I didn't make an option. LOL @ myself.
