For Q4: Tree-shaped Spritz cookies with the silver balls you can crack your teeth on. :D

Growing up, the big feast was always christmas eve, and it was a no-meat affair due to Polish Catholic policy of no meat on fridays or christmas eve. Seafood was allowed though. There'd probably be cabbage soup, baked fish, shrimp, pasta of some kind, pierogies (potato-cheese and potato-lekvar (lekvar is lightly fermented prune puree) filled), maybe eggplant parmagiana, maybe lobster bisqe. Being non-religious, older, and thousands of miles from blood family now, we just go over to a friend's on christmas day (since we have it off work) and have a smaller, meatier feast.

I've never heard of nanaimo bars before, but now I want to look them up.
