The weirdness of thinking is "home" the place my parents live, or had it finally after years of college become my own flat?

My boss refuses to close for anything at my one job -- holidays, blizzards, you name it, we're open during it. Last year I got conned into working Thanksgiving, Christmas, AND New Year's, so this year when the calendar became available for time off, in January, I wrote my name in on Christmas and said to the scheduling manager, "You see this? This is me being the first person to ask for Christmas off. I don't care if every single other person who works here calls out, I am NOT working it this year."

I put something else for the travelling one because while I won't be travelling on Christmas, I will be travelling the week before to my in-law's but we'll be back after a couple of days.

Also looks like I'm the only poor sap who has to work on Christmas day.
