For non-fiction, video game strategy guides. >.>; And some technical manuals, also. And just for entertainment more than anything else, astrology guides.

I'd rather read magazines than books, although I have TONS of books waiting to be read. Ironic.

I love love love me some historical/sociological nonfiction. Such a huge junkie for that kind of thing.

My reading pile is, at the moment, as follows:

- Final Fantasy and Philosophy: The Ultimate Walkthrough
- The Joy of Cataloging: Essays, Letters, Reviews, and Other Explosions
- Homophobia: A History
- Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion: Stage 4 -Zero-
- Christianity: The First Three Thousand Years
- Flow: The Cultural Story of Menstruation
- The History of White People
- Judas: The Gospel of Betrayal
- The Red Pyramid (the new Rick Riordan book)

The only audiobooks I listen to are for Doctor Who and its spinoffs. Initially just because David Tennant's voice is heaven, but now I find they're all fun no matter who's reading.

ETA: Forgot to mention - I read all sorts of nonfiction about animals, too. Fiction genres are harder to pin down, since I pick mostly out of the YA section, coming-of-age stuff. Unless I can find fiction about animals...

I usually read 2 - 3 books at a time, usually 1 fiction and the others are non-fiction, but sometimes I read more than one fiction book at a time.

My two great loves in fiction are detective stories (especially old-school ones) and humour, so I'm in absolute heaven with the Nero Wolfe books by Rex Stout. Absolutely addicted. Spending ridiculous amounts of money having them all shipped to Australia from the US.

My main interests in non-fiction are technology (that's the biggest one for me), film/TV, and how-to guides about whatever new thing I'm interested in learning.

I love reading cooking books... when they have lots of pictures. As it's basically food porn, does that count as erotica?

I love to read, I'm not into romantic books but if nothing else is available almost anything will do.
