I completely support it. Why make the rest of the world cater to Americans, because we're pretty much the only ones who do something different?

The interesting thing is, they actually tried to do this in the seventies. A bill was passed. Well, look how far that got us. :P

I was hopeful! It would, in fact, increase business for quite a few industries because of the need to readjust everything.
1st-Apr-2010 04:15 pm (UTC)
Why will it increase business. Aren't those who do business overseas already using metric measurements?

Congratulations, April Fool's Day is half over and you're the first person who has successfully freaked me out. Nicely done!

I knew it was a prank, but I wish it was true! The frakking "standard" system is weird and obtuse and arbitrary. Quick! How many teaspoons in a cup! (Don't look it up. Guess.) Or how many Feet are in a Furlong?

Oh Fantastic!! :p Ya Snake! **SPANKS**

Measures will be so easy for kids to learn, but it's gonna be a pain in the ass to get businesses to convert.
