Exercise and how it makes you feel

Everyone keeps telling me that exercise makes you feel GOOD and that it will make you HAPPY and you will simply feel BETTER after exercise. Well, this has never, ever been the case for me. Some activities that count as exercise make me feel good, but that's always in spite of the exercise aspect (ie. it's fun for other reasons). Maybe there's just a defect in my brain or a chemical or neurological thing that makes all those nifty chemicals not happen or not affect me - I'll probably never know. Whatever the case, I can't be alone in not enjoying exercise.

For the purposes of this poll, let's forget about social aspects such as "I like spending time with my friends while exercising" and just concentrate on the physical and mental happiness.
