Election Prediction Time

Today I made a bet with a co-worker on the outcome of the US election. We didn't bet on who we thought the winner was going to be because we both think that's pretty obvious. But what we disagree on is how many electoral college votes the winner will get. If the winner gets more than 370, he wins, if the winner gets less than 370, I win.

There are 538 electoral college votes (the candidate who gets the most votes in a state gets all of the electoral college votes allotted to that state.) With this in mind, here is your chance to make your prediction on the outcome of the US election, not only on who you predict will win, but by how much.

I've put a map behind the cut showing how many electoral college votes each state gets.

I'll try to remember to close the poll before the election.

Poll #1286400 Electoral College
This poll is closed.

In the US presidential election, a candidate needs 270 electoral college votes to win. How many do you think the winning candidate will get in this election?

270-285
7(14.6%)
286-300
7(14.6%)
301-315
7(14.6%)
316-330
6(12.5%)
331-345
3(6.2%)
346-360
8(16.7%)
361-375
6(12.5%)
376-390
2(4.2%)
391-405
0(0.0%)
405-420
1(2.1%)
421-450
0(0.0%)
451-480
1(2.1%)
481-500
0(0.0%)
Over 500, but not a complete sweep
0(0.0%)
All 538
0(0.0%)

And the winner will be....

Barack Obama
48(94.1%)
John McCain
3(5.9%)

Specifically, how many electoral votes do you predict the winning candidate will get? (Name the candidate and the number of electoral votes you think he'll get.)
