On your day off (assume for this question that you get an unexpected day off), from the list below, which would you most rather do?
Go for a walk/hike
Stay home and watch movies
Go out to a movie
Stay home and read
Hang out with a friend/family member/s.o.
A combination of some of these
Stay in bed and sleep
Spend time with your child(ren)
Something else not listed (the question says "from the list below" but you have to be difficult don't you?) Tell us what.
How do you feel about Bob Dylan's music?
I like some and dislike some
Meh, he's okay, but he's no Neil Young
I don't like most of it, but he has some songs I like
I don't like any of it
How many colds or flus did you pick up this past winter? (Past winter in whatever hemisphere you live in.)
Do you believe in global warming?
I think so, but I'm not sure
I'm really not sure
It's all a bunch of b.s.
If you could, would you like to be a super-hero and fight crime?
It might be fun for a while
I dunno, maybe. What's it pay?
Probably not, I might miss Idol or something else on tv
No thanks, that sounds dangerous
Do you think that society has become accepting enough for professional sports such as major league baseball, NFL football, NHL hockey, NBA basketball, etc. to have openly gay athletes?
Yes. We've matured as a society now and this would be no big deal.
Perhaps, but there would still be some resistance.
I don't think so. There are still too many bigots and homophobes out there.
I think it is a bad idea. Homosexuality is wrong and gay pro athletes would reinforce immoral conduct.
None of these choices describe how I feel about this. I'll comment.
Are you now, or have you ever been, a registered member of a political party?
I'm not now, but I have been and might again in future
I'm not now, I have been in the past but probably won't again
I'm not and never have been, but I might in future
No, not now and no plans to do so in future
Imagine you are an employer and a potential employee (otherwise qualified and the only applicant) tells you that he/she is a recovering addict and is actively attending a 12 step program. Under what conditions to you hire the person?
I don't. The risk of being ripped off, etc. is too high. I'm not taking any chances.
Only if the person has been clean for 30 days or more.
Only if the person has been clean for 60 days or more.
Only if the person has been clean for 90 days or more.
Only if the person has been clean for 6 months or more.
Only if the person has been clean for a year or more.
There's no minimum time, I just use my instincts and if I get a good feeling, I hire the person.
I use some other consideration (tell us what).
