It's cold today, so I ordered Chinese food for lunch instead of going out. I ordered Chicken Chow Mein, expecting to get some tasty noodles and chicken. Instead I got some boiled vegetables and chicken in what appears to be mucus! I called the restaurant to say they had my order wrong, but they said that Chow Mein is boiled vegetables, not noodles. I checked the menu, and their menu agrees -- boiled vegetables. I should have order Lo Mein. I've never heard this before! Everywhere I've been, Chow Mein is noodles. I even looked on wikipedia and wikipedia says that Chow Mein is noodles. That's one of those things that wikipedia probably isn't wrong about.
