Technically, I met my fiancé way back in 2005 on LJ of all places, although we met IRL only a week later. I posted in a Danny Elfman community about a tiny local concert coming up. One other person in the community lived in the area, and we planned to meet up at the concert. We became friends, then special friends, and come 2016, we'll each own half of our cat. ;D

That's a great story, and a sweet one too.

I met my husband thanks to the internet back in 2004. I made a profile on some site that I completely forgot about after making it lol..but he found me on there and sent me a really sweet e-mail. We met in person a month later and became a couple that same day. I had him come to my house since my family was there and I wanted to be safe! haha It ended up working out, obviously :). We've been married for a little over 4 years now!
