Two of my favorite short stories are by Ray Bradbury: There Will Come Soft Rains and All Summer In A Day.

All Summer In A Day was traumatizing forever when I read it as part of our 6th grade language arts textbook.

Something Wicked This Way Comes was one of the few books we were required to read in junior high that I actually enjoyed. But it created a fear of carousels!

I haven't read any of his work yet, but a lot of it is on my to read list.

Illustrated Man was so cool it kept me as an English major for a little while longer. But alas, the rest of literature got to me, and I switched to history.

I have read Fahrenheit 451. Great book.
(The news ticker on BBC or what ever channel it was couldn't even spell Fahrenheit... )
