I work at a library :)

Today was my day off, but I worked yesterday and I work tomorrow.

I work at a library too! I'm there right now!

Ditto everything you just said! :D

I said I've been to the library which is not technically true... I put my books on hold and my husband keeps my card so he can pick them up. The library is on his way home from work :)

Ah yes, the time honored Family Member Shuttle Service. I've been there; it's a wonderful convenience.

We do this, too. I don't have to go to the library very often except for activities like book club (hence, once a month), but Z visits at least twice a week and picks up everything for us. : )

My "other" was comic books which I get quite frequently at the library.

I'm currently living abroad in a place where there are no public libraries around me, so that skewed the last time I visited a library question a lot. If I'm at home, I'm in there at least once a week.

As a teacher, the library saves me so much money. I can change the books out on my classroom's bookshelf regularly at no cost. It's awesome! I just wish my local library had a bigger selection, but beggars can't be choosers.

The Phoenix library system offering Kindle ebook downloads was literally life changing to me. I could not be happier to have the option, even if the selection is limited :)

I had one while I was living in London! I used to go in every week. I'd rent heaps of comic books as well. Have since been backpacking, and then finally moved back home. Have been meaning to reapply for a card here at my local.

Our local library only opened recently (maybe 2 years ago). It's in a location that's a bit out of the way, so even though it's not too far, it's somewhat inconvenient to get there. I have a card and checked out every book they had that I'd ever be interested in reading shortly after the library opened. It's a tiny library. I know they get new books in now and then, but that library doesn't really cater to my interests.

I also have a library card for the library up in the city which I've had for maybe close to 20 years (at least 15). At first it was free even though I didn't live in the city, but now it's $35 a year--still a bargain. I let it lapse in the last few years, mostly because it's cheaper to buy a new book from Amazon than to pay to drive up there twice (to get the books and return them).

They have ebooks now, though, and I want to check that out. If I can download the ebooks online, I might pay the fee and renew the library card. I wish they had a greater and better selection of audio books as well. They used to have a lot of great books on tape, but haven't really matched that in CDs or electronic audio books.
