Oh, there is just entirely too much abstaining from voting going on here. Don't you enjoy making snap judgments based on minimal info? I've only seen War Horse (side note: ALL THE AWARDS), but I figure if I've seen previews and read about the movies in general Oscar-related articles, I am sufficiently well informed. And even if you only know one or two of the contenders, if you don't hate the options, then they might as well be considered the best.

Only movie I've seen from the list is Midnight in Paris, which was a very nice little movie. I want to eventually watch Hugo.
