It was pretty bad. Pride & Prejudice is one of my favorite books though, and adding zombies to it just felt wrong to me.

The passion with which I hate anything involving vampires, zombies, and pretty much anything else along those lines is unparalleled. Forcing them into novels and historical settings I love is like watching someone mutilate a puppy. No, I don't think that comparison is too strong.

While I admit this sort of thing is an interesting step in the area of legitimized transformative works, I really have zero interest in Jane Austen.

While the concept seemed mildly entertaining and clever with the first one, the novelty was quick to wear off, in my opinion. Then again, I've never read the modified versions or the originals, so I suppose I don't really have much credibility in this matter.
