I love voting. No, really, I do.

Today is Election Day in the United States. I believe all states held their gubernatorial elections today (please correct me if I'm wrong). After talking with a few friends, I have this sinking suspicion that I'm in the minority, but I voted. Therefore:

I just moved (temporarily) to a new state, and have not registered to vote here as I'm registered back where I call "home".

Michigan's Gubernatorial race isn't until next year. Only city/county elections here today.

We didn't have any election here.

We didn't have anything to vote for except mayor and school board, but I still went out. Mainly because my parents dragged me with them.

Indiana didn't have a gubernatorial race today either. The only thing on the ballot in my area was whether or not to build a new public hospital.

None of the above - I voted absentee several weeks ago.

We had local elections - no "state" per say. I'm hoping that you guys have a good result over in NJ!

The only states that had gubernatorial elections today were Virginia and New Jersey. Most of them have elections every 4 years, and all but 5 have them in even years. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Governor_%28United_States%29#Gubernatorial_election_timeline_schedule has a full list.

Uh, I also meant to say, California didn't have any state-wide elections, but we did have some local issues in San Francisco.

Ohhh see there I go being uninformed again. As I'm from Jersey, I thought it was kind of a nation-wide thing. Heh.

Thanks for that!

I didn't because I was so undecided about it all I didn't think it was fair to just vote for anyone because my brain didn't want to choose.

I know it's my patriotic duty to vote, but elections just don't interest me. I'm not schooled in any of the issues and I honestly couldn't care less.

No: I voted in city elections three weeks ago via absentee ballot.

We have a special gubernatorial election next year (our incredibly awesome governor was stolen to be the ambassador to China and replaced with someone who is not so awesome). This year was just city council. I tried to do my research but still didn't know enough about any of the people running, so I didn't vote.
