I would rather they just picked a time and stuck with it! No changing of clocks!

THIS! They claim it "saves" energy, but for someone like me who is affected little by circadian rhythms, that's utter BS.

I find it completely useless. Why you ask? Because I live in Saskatchewan, Canada and we don't ever change times with daylight savings. We are doing just fine without it. :)

I ask because apart from giving me a bit more 'sunny time' on nice days in our rather cold climate in the UK in the Summer, I loate and detest Daylight Saving Time and wondered what other people thought of it.
:)
Edit: that should've been 'loathe', not 'loate!!' Blame it on the 'fall back' a few days for my current state of brain-dead-ness.
;)

I would like to be on daylight savings all year. i hate how early it gets dark in the winter.

I don't care if it's useful, I like it!

It obsiously depends on where you are and what sort of person you are. But I live in Scandinavia, and we're a lot who suffers from winter depressions due to the shorter days, and while it's only one hour of more sun, we get to enjoy, I can actually feel the difference between the years where I have to get up early (due to school and work) and the years where I could sleep as long as I wanted too :/

DST is as useful as tits on a boar.

That said, fall back is easy to get over for me, while it takes about the whole summer to get over spring ahead.

I love it in fall when I get to sleep an extra hour and it stays dark all time, but I ABSOLUTELY HATE losing an hour in the spring. :( I say just get rid of it altogether. Makes absolutely no sense.

I don't know that it's necessarily useful, but I do like having the extra hour of sun because of it. I don't get why the parts of the world that do daylight savings don't change the same day though. It seems like that'd make more sense.

I've lived in two places that don't do it (Arizona and Japan) and have come to the conclusion that it is solely an annoyance.

I currently live in Arizona, which is a state that doesn't observe DST. I'm 100% ok with this.

It's worthless IMO.

oops, didn't want to post yet. It's worthless because if you want another damn hour of sun, you can wake up early.

Changing the clock doesn't magically change the way the world works.
